	1.	The Falkland Current is a branch of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current.
	2.	The Falkland Current is not a surface current like the Brazil Current but it extends all the way to the sea-floor.
	3.	The Malvinas Current ( also called Falkland Current or Falklands Current ) is an equatorward flowing current that carries cold and relatively fresh subantarctic water.
	4.	It flows south from the equator to the west wind drift . It joins the Falkland Current at the Argentine Sea ( see Brazil Falkland Confluence ), making it a temperate sea.
